All our courses are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference of Languages (CEFR) to ensure continuous and measurable progress.
This reference system defines levels of foreign language proficiency based on speaking and writing skills : A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. It provides a common basis for the design of official programs, diplomas, and certificates. It therefore encourages educational and professional mobility, and creates bridges between all Alliance Françaises and insitutions that align their course offerings with the CEFR.

It allows you to quickly and accurately assess your level in a foreign language in the context of recruitment, professional promotion or training. Ev@lang is a test developed by the evaluation and certification department of France Éducation International.

Ev@lang is a 100% online test. It allows a reliable and quick evaluation (35 minutes maximum) of the foreign language level of the users. It is available on all types of media.

Ev@lang allows the user to know their foreign language level in detail as soon as they finish the test. They can also edit a summary of their results. Ev@lang is aligned with the competence levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
